Dr. Malisos is now offering a Premium Direct-Care or Concierge Service to patients in the Kansas City area. This option will provide patients 24/7 access to Dr. Malisos via his personal cell phone, no waiting with same day unhurried appointments without the hassles of co-pays or deductibles. There is a single annual fee for all office visits, in-office lab testing, EKGs, X-rays, Hearing screening, in-office surgeries and much more.

The Primary Goals of Concierge Medicine Are:
- To provide immediate treatment to avoid worsening illness, ER visits and possible hospitalization.
- To give 24/7 access to Dr. Malisos directly for immediate medical information when it is needed.
- To keep patients healthy by giving them unrestricted access to care with no waiting for appointments, no concerns with how much an office visit or procedure will cost and to have the confidence in knowing they are receiving the best care possible.
- To lower insurance premiums of participants by allowing them to choose the highest deductible plan as the vast majority of their health care needs are being provided outside the hospital.
- Patients who may most benefit from this option include those who are self- employed, those having no insurance, those with high deductibles and patients who want the added assurance of receiving premium medical service.
* A patient of mine who went to the ER was billed $1,500 for a skin infection that l could have treated. In addition to the office charges surrounding the ER visit, the total bill for this one incident was over $2,000. That would have covered an entire year of medical care with the Concierge Medicine option.
